How It’s Made: Bridgeport™ Steel
The Bridgeport™ Steel garage door is built with your home’s comfort and durability in mind. Choose from 1-, 2-, or 3-layer construction, each featuring heavy-duty steel inside and out. For extra comfort, select Intellicore® polyurethane insulation, Clopay’s proprietary foam that fills every inch of the door for maximum strength, warmth, and quiet operation. Or if you want something simpler, polystyrene insulation is also available for reliable energy efficiency.
Every panel is finished with a multi-layer rust-resistant system: hot-dipped galvanizing, a protective metal oxide pretreatment, and a baked-on primer and topcoat. This means your door stands up to rain, snow, and sun, year after year, with nominal upkeep.
Other features include a replaceable vinyl bottom seal to block drafts, patented Safe-T-Bracket® hardware for added safety, and removable window grilles for easy cleaning. All doors insulated with Intellicore® come standard with smooth-gliding nylon rollers and heavy-duty steel hinges for lasting performance.

Just keep in mind: 18″ sections are available only on 3-layer doors, so section count may vary based on your door’s size and construction.
